DRUMMING - IN PERSON - RUISHTON, Nr TAUNTON
Drum Circle Weaving
SUNDAY 14th DeCEMBER 2025 - 10AM to 1PM
Community drumming, weaving the sounds of our drums with the song of the Earth.
Come and join a friendly group for this fun, interactive drum circle, tuning into this energetic and animistic tradition of our land and ancestors.
During the monthly drumming circle, participants are invited to co-work with a seasonally curated selection of vibrational essences, most of which I have personally co-created with various plants, animals or birds. Experiencing the wisdom of these beings through drumming offers deeper insights into both the beings and oneself.
At the heart of our drumming circle is a very special Grandmother Drum, which allows six people to drum with her simultaneously. I warmly encourage everyone to take their turn to connect-in and co-work with her. Together, with her, we provide the central heartbeat and direction of each weaving.
Drumming has been shown to help ease stress and anxiety, bring joy and boost mental health and well-being - so come with an open heart and mind and have some fun!
No prior experience is required. If you wish to attend but don’t have a drum, I always bring a selection along for participants to work with.
Date: Sunday 14th December 2025, 10am - 1pm
Duration: 3 hours including refreshment break
Location: Ruishton, Near Taunton, Somerset
Exchange: £30
Future location change!! In 2026 Drum Circle events will be held monthly at Smeatharpe Village Hall near Honiton.
TALK - LIVE ONLINE
Perception of the Un-Seen Realm
Monday 15TH DECEMBER 2025 - 7PM to 8.30PM
Unlocking your full perception, beyond the 5 senses
This talk challenges our "narrow mindedness" about reality by exploring how we perceive the seen and unseen realm, unseen energy or spirits for example. To full receive wisdom from the world - whether from a plant, a place, a lost soul, or a chakra for our health - we must open all 6 senses.
The sixth sense - intuition or extrasensory perception - is the most valuable tool to tuning into this unseen realm and practising methods like dowsing. In this talk you will learn techniques to expand your perception, and you can participate in a short appreciation exercise.
Date: Monday 15th December 2025, 7-8.30pm
Duration: 1.5 hours
Location: Online with Zoom
Exchange: £15

TALK - LIVE ONLINE
Sacred Geometry in Nature
MONDAY 16TH FEBRUARY 2026 - 7PM to 8.30PM
Science explains the patterns of nature. Animism listens to them. Where they meet, sacred geometry appears.
From the spiral of a seashell to the hexagon of a honeycomb, nature repeats ancient shapes that are both efficient and meaningful. Fibonacci spirals, fractals, and natural symmetry show us that the Earth isn’t random—it's relational, intelligent, and deeply interconnected.
When we bring science and animism together, we see the world differently:
Patterns become teachings
Ecosystems become conversations
Nature becomes a living geometry of meaning
What patterns speak to you? In this talk you will discover insight into how science and animism weave their way into understanding sacred geometry in nature.
Date: Monday 16th February 2026, 7-8.30pm
Duration: 1.5 hours
