TALK - LIVE ONLINE
Wisdom of Spring
MONDAY 18th MAY 2026 - 7PM to 8.30PM
Spring arrives not as a sudden bloom, but as a remembering.
Here on this land, the old rhythms stir again. The quiet wisdom carried through soil, root, and wing. Indigenous knowing teaches us that this season is not just about growth, but about relationship to place, to element, to the unseen threads that bind us.
Fire returns first, not in destruction, but in spark. The warming sun, the quickening blood, the subtle ignition of intention. It asks: what within you is ready to be kindled?
The blackbird sings before the world fully wakes. Its call is both boundary and blessing; a gentle reminder to claim your space, your voice, your presence in this turning season.
At your feet, wood anemones open gently to the light, ancient woodland dwellers that bloom briefly and remind us of life’s fleeting beauty. They do not rush. They arrive exactly when the conditions are right.
And in the margins (pond, ditch, and shadow) frog emerges. A keeper of thresholds, moving between water and land, teaching transformation, adaptability, and the courage to cross between worlds.
Come and join me as we weave the wisdom of spring through the element of fire, the animals, plants and birds that hold this season as their own.......

DRUMMING - IN PERSON - SMEATHARPE VILLAGE HALL, nr. HONITON
Drum Circle Weaving
SUNDAY 31ST MAY 2026 - 10AM to 1PM
Community drumming, weaving the sounds of our drums with the song of the Earth. Join a friendly group for this fun, interactive drum circle, tuning into this energetic and animistic tradition of our land and ancestors.
During the monthly drumming circle, participants are invited to co-work with a seasonally curated selection of vibrational essences, most of which I have personally co-created with various plants, animals or birds. Experiencing the wisdom of these beings through drumming offers deeper insights into both the beings and oneself.
At the heart of our drumming circle is a very special Community Drum, which allows six people to drum with her simultaneously. I warmly encourage everyone to take their turn to connect-in and co-work with her. Together, with her, we provide the central heartbeat and direction of each weaving.
Drumming has been shown to help ease stress and anxiety, bring joy and boost mental health and well-being - so come with an open heart and mind and have some fun!
No prior experience is required. If you wish to attend but don’t have a drum, I always bring a selection along for participants to work with.
Date: Sunday 31st May, 10am - 1pm
Duration: 3 hours including refreshment break
Location: Smeatharpe Village Hall, Nr Honiton
Exchange: £30

SEASONAL GROUP COACHING PROGRAMME - LIVE ONLINE
Summer Wisdom in Practice: Finding deep connection with Plant and Animal Medicine
NEW FORMAT ! 8 WEEK PROGRAMME STARTING 1st JUNE 2026
This is a new format programme focussing on co-working with the Plant medicine of Daisy, and the Animal medicine of Wren, each over a 4week period. The programme balances scientific understanding and animist perception, helping us to navigate the heightened dynamics of the summer season.
Weeks 1-4: Co-working with Daisy Beginning with the bright, grounded presence of Daisy as our teacher and ally. Through essence work, meditation, autecological exploration (the science bit, plus folklore) and journey practices, we will attune to Daisy’s subtle medicine, learning from her persistence, simplicity and clarity of purpose.
Weeks 5-8: Co-working with Wren In the second half of the programme, we turn to the teachings of the bird medicine of Wren. Again through essence work, shapeshifting meditation, autecological study, and journeying, we explore Wren’s song of vitality, courage and adaptability, finding new ways to embody these qualities in our own lives.
What to expect:
- Personal Plant and Animal Essences. You'll receive my own hand-prepared essences, sent to you by post, designed to gently deepen your awareness and sense of connection.
- Weekly online gatherings where we deepen connection through shared practice and reflection.
- Guided exercises to do in your own time. Gentle invitations to cultivate everyday relationship with plant, bird and the world around us.
-
A supportive online community, space to witness and be witnessed in your unfolding connection with nature.
The programme is an opportunity to join like-minded souls to align your life with Summer's wisdom, restore balance, and strengthen your connection with the living world.
A full schedule, including Zoom dates and times, will be shared at the Seasonal Wisdom introductory meeting.
